A couple are driving home, listening to the radio, when they have to take a detour due to some road improvement. While along this road one of their tyres becomes punctured, they pull over and her boyfriend tells her that they don’t have a spare but saw a garage a few miles back. He goes off to find a spare and tells her that when he’s back he will knock three times. She waits for a few hours and starts to worries about her and her boyfriend’s fate that is until her phone rings. The voice is muffled but she think it’s her boyfriend but as she can’t fully see or hear him which makes her start to panic, that’s until she hears three knocks on the car door. She opens the door and is about to scream abuse when a knife is shoved inside of her head.
The next night

A babysitter is watching the news coverage of the murder of a woman in a car and the arrest of her husband. She turns off the TV and tells her kids to go to bed. When she is in the hallway she notices there is a life size statue standing in the hallway. This creeps her out so she rings the parents up and asks if she can move it, however they reply chills her as they state that they have no full size statue in their home.  The parents rush home after calling the police, they rush in but find nothing and claim that she was seeing things.

The next day

At college she catches up with her friends as they discuss recent events, and they all question what she say that night, they are skeptical of what she saw. They all go to class where they discuss how TV and films influence today’s killers, they then go to gym class, that is when she sees the statue again however this time it’s in the changing room when it comes to life a slits her friends throat. The others find out and are completely shuck up.

They are all forced home one of the boys goes home and has a shower whereas the babysitter goes and researches who or what this killer is. The boy walks into his room the see a statue that scares the crap out of him but he plays it off as joke and walks out to the shower but the statue follows him. Elsewhere the girl was finding some startling information, she phones all her friends to meet her however she can’t get hold of one of the guys so she heads over there. However she finds that he has been killed, his head was completely crushed.

At their meeting she informs them of the death, they are all on edge, before she tells them about who it is that’s killing them. This thing was human but now isn’t as it is a demon from the otherside and it’s killing them because of the séance they performed three weeks ago opened actually opened a portal to the other-side and this thing crawled out and is hunting us in-order to stay in this plane of existence.

After explaining the lights go out and in the panic and confusion the killer manages to kill one of her remaining friends. The lights blink on to reveal the macabre body, the remaining survivors scream before leaving but as they are running one of decides to phone the police for help. After the call ends her head is split in half just before the last remaining survivor finds her and leaves the building to be greeted by an armada of officers who take her into custody.
12 hours in custody

An officer visits the survivor in the questioning room, the first words to come out of his mouth is “why did you murder your friends?”

She is shocked and confused, she tells him that she didn’t do this, however the officer pulls out some security footage of the murders as they happened but the footage is shocking as it doesn’t show a demon killing them but the woman who’s being questioned. She refutes her innocence but is taken away to the psych ward.
