Butcher with a Smile

     Now I know what you may be thinking I've already done a post called 'Butcher with a smile' and you be right and that little section is the script for the first 2 paragraphs of this synopsis. The ending has once again been removed.  This is the first draft, not final synopsis.

 Butcher with a smile

A guy receives a text that say’s his wife is cheating on him, to prove to him they are not lying the text also came with some jpegs of his wife romantically engaged with another man. Angry he rushes home where without thinking grabs a large pair of scissors a slits open her mouth and she bleeds out.

5 years later a guy is smugly walking down the street after sleeping with his mistress, while checking his sexts from her he is startled by a cat hissing, when he looks up he sees a woman features hidden by shadows. Intrigued he walks closer to her trying to grab her attention then when he can see her face she answers him with, “do you think I’m pretty?”

The guy say’s yeah then she removes her surgical and says “even like this?” revealing her mouth is slit from ear to ear. “Jesus no” the guy replies. Her face changes to anger then shows a silhouette of guy being split in half.

The next day two people a guy and a woman are at a newsstand when they see the newspaper detailing the murder on the cheating man. “That’s the fourth murder this week and we still have no clues.” They both agree that this case has nothing to do with the paranormal and that they should drop the case.

One month later the woman is studying when her friend/ colleague comes in claiming to have found a link between all the victims, that they had all had affairs but not only that but the night of these murders was only the second time meeting there mistress. They realise that no one else has picked up the case so decide, even though it’s not there department they should solve this case. They stake out the nightclub areas for any suspicious behaviour. At around 5am they decided to call it a day when the see a drunk guy walking and decided to follow to find him meeting a woman they watch from the distance the woman asks the man the same questions as before then she slits the guy in half. The agents are horrified when the woman seems to notice them then disappears into the shadows, as the order her to freeze.

They phone for backup, but when they try to explain what happened, none of the other agents believe them as there is no evidence insight. The agents are called in to the director’s office to answer some questions as to what really happened last night when they both stick to their stories, they are suspended to give them some time off as he thinks they are too stressed working on the Chāozìrán dǎng'àn. While on their suspension they visit each other’s houses and discuss what they saw that night and who was it. When they return from suspension they look through old case files and hospital records to see if they can find anyone who reported or admitted with similar injuries. The only case they can find is from 5 years ago, a 140, a woman was hacked to death with a glass bottle by her husband. He received some text messages showing his wife was having an affair, so he snapped and when he confronted her he killed her. He was arrested and charged with murder, but here’s the weird bits the photos that were sent were fake and the suspect was never found. Also the victim’s body disappeared from the morgue and never found.

“I guess this case does fall into the Chāozìrán dǎng'àn after all.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well if I’m right we’re dealing with a demon”

He searches the internet to find the suspect when he comes across the legend of the half faced woman. Which he states is who is killing all these men. However there is no recorded way of stopping her.

  

The next day they comes rushing and tells the director they know who the killer is. They tell him that the killer is a ghost or to be more accurate a demon entity. That this woman is the same woman who was killed five years ago and that the only question was why and how she resurfaced now. The director looks at them in disbelief until they show him the case files, he doesn’t wants to believe, but tells them, if they have a lead run with it.

 They decide to visit her grave to see if there are answers as to why she’s resurfaced now.

While at the grave they look around the grave and find that there are fresh flowers on the grave. When they check to see who left them they are shocked to find they were left by her husband, who died in prison 4 years ago, they decided to perform a séance to try and catch her. They try but get no direct reply after five hours, however they notice that there is however a man watching them from a distance. They pursue the suspect and as they are chasing him his head is decapitated right in front of them.

The slit mouth woman emerges from the shadows dripping in blood, she looks up at them and asks them do they think she is pretty? They are confused by what she asked and give a hesitant yes response. She then slowly removes her mask to reveal her face is disfigured as she asks

“Even like this?”   

They begin to talk to her asking her to put the weapons down and asking her why and how she did what she did. She looks at them both confused, before she lunges for them.

The agents quickly dive out the way and withdraw their guns and fire repeatedly at the woman until she collapses.
